What we are looking for

Please read the following guidance before submitting your application.

Trustee of the Year

We’re looking for outstanding trustees who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and impact for their charity. Strong applications will outline the trustee’s commitment to their organisation and give examples of the difference they’ve made – whether that’s guiding strategic decisions, creating a supportive and positive culture or improving governance and finance processes.

Climate Action initiative

We’re looking for innovative projects that are tackling the climate crisis and promoting long term sustainability. This could be in any area of climate – from community education, nature restoration to adaptation. Strong applications will demonstrate how the initiative is delivering a lasting change and meeting its objectives. Projects must have had activity within the last year, although they may have started earlier or be part of a longer-term effort.

Triumph through adversity

This award is spotlighting resilience in action. We’re looking for an outstanding charity that has shown resilience by overcoming a challenge or difficulty it faced in the last year; coming out the other end stronger and still delivering amazing impact for its beneficiaries. Strong applications will highlight the resilience, innovation and drive shown by the organisation.

Fundraiser of the year

For outstanding charity fundraisers who have delivered successful, innovative and collaborative fundraising campaigns. We’re looking for individuals who have not only delivered great financial results in the last year, but have shown collaboration, strategic thinking and creativity in their approach. (Note: By fundraiser, we mean professionals or volunteers in charge of organising and running fundraising campaigns, rather than individuals who support your charity and take part in fundraising events and challenges.)

Partnership of the year

We’re looking for an outstanding partnership between two organisations that have delivered a positive impact. The partnership may take many forms including a company and a charity, or two charities working together. We’ve looking for partners who have collaborated in the last year in a positive, efficient and innovate way. Strong applications will show how impact for beneficiaries was amplified by working together.

Founder of the year

This category recognises incredible individuals who have founded impactful charities. We are looking for founders who have used their drive and passion to create organisations making a lasting and meaningful difference for beneficiaries. Strong applications will highlight how the founder has grown their charity’s impact and created a positive, collaborative and inclusive charity culture.
