Privacy Notice – What happens to my Personal Data?

  1. The Benefact Group is made up of different legal entities, details of which can be found here. This Privacy Notice is issued on behalf of the Promoter, who is the controller in respect of the personal data which the Promoter holds about you in relation to the Contribution.
  2. Below is a brief summary of how the Contributor’s personal data and the personal data of any individuals within the Contribution will be processed. Further information can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at ecclesiastical.com/General/PrivacyPolicy.aspx.
  3. The Promoter will be processing the Personal Data contained in this form, related to and contained in this Contribution to produce, promote, distribute and otherwise exploit the Contribution in any media formats worldwide to achieve the Purpose. For these purposes, the Promoter shall process the Contributor’s and the personal data of any individuals within the Contribution on the legal basis that: (a) it is a legitimate interest of the Promoter, being the making and commercial exploitation, distribution and promotion of the Contribution to achieve the Purpose, for the personal data to be processed in accordance with this Agreement which is not overridden by the Contributor’s or that of other individuals within the Contribution interests, rights and freedoms; and (b) the processing is necessary for the performance of this Agreement.
  4. The Promoter may share your personal data overseas, including outside of the UK and European Economic Area, but will put appropriate safeguards in place to ensure that your personal data is protected.
  5. You have a number of data protection rights including the right of access. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy (please see above). If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact the Data Protection Officer of the Promoter at compliance@ecclesiastical.com or by writing to Benefact House, 2000 Pioneer Avenue, Gloucester Business Park, Brockworth, Gloucester, GL3 4AW and for the attention of the Data Protection Officer.
  6. The Promoter reserves its right to change this Privacy Notice and its Privacy Policy from time to time for example to keep it up-to- date and compliant with legal requirements.
